Amid growing public frustration over the persistent water crisis and stalled development projects, Cidco chief administrator Bhagyashree Vispute and administrator Bhagwat Bighot engaged in discussions with citizens, assuring swift action to address key issues.

The meeting follows weeks of protests and demonstrations in February and March, compelling Cidco MIDC to take serious note of citizens’ demands. Vispute pledged that pending projects would be fast-tracked, emphasizing that administrative procedures were being accelerated to ensure timely execution. Administrator Bighot revealed that additional water supply has been sought from MIDC while urgent repair orders have been issued to fix pipeline leakages. He assured residents that resolving the crisis remains a top priority. Shiv Sena deputy city chief Dattatraya Warpe, along with local leaders Dattu Kothale, Dnyaneshwar Fulare, Bhagwan Chandan, and Women’s Wing leader Anita Patil Dhariya, participated in the discussions, echoing concerns of the affected communities.
