Aurangabad, Sept 28:
The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) elections are heading near. BJP will capture the corporation on its own might and the city major will be of BJP, calimed former assembly speaker MLA Haribhau Bagade.
The city executive body of the BJP was announced 15 days back but the new officials and activists were not given the appointment letter. They were given appointment letters in a programme held at Patidar Bhavan on Monday afternoon.
Guiding the activists, Bagade said, the corporation elections will be held in the coming days. Maximum corporators of BJP should win and the mayor should be of BJP. The activists should start working in this direction, he said.
The problems of the people should be understand and they should try to resolve it. The BJP activists had worked during the Corona crisis in the city. They distributed food packets, water and medicines to the people, Bagade added.
MP, Dr Bhagwat Karad, MLA Atul Save, Sanjay Kenekar and others also guided the party workers.
Kenkar said, the young volunteers of BJP are very active and efficient. The teams should work to reach at grass root. Many more volunteers will join BJP in the coming days, he said.
Leaders, Praveen Ghuge, Anil Makariye, Dilip Thorat, Prashant Desarda Jalindar Shendge, Madhuri Adwant, Vijay Autade, Rajgaurav Wankhede, Suraj Lolge, Amruta Palodkar and other officials were present.
