Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:
After the industrial revolution of the 1980s, the city is once again witnessing large-scale investment. Alongside this, significant investment in infrastructure is also expected. Through the combined efforts of the administration, industry, and citizens, the development of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar will now accelerate and will not be halted, expressed divisional commissioner G Sreekanth with firm confidence.
A felicitation ceremony was organised on May 2 by ‘Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar First’ (CSN First) at the residence of industrialist Rishikumar Bagla to welcome newly appointed divisional commissioner G Sreekanth, district collector Vinay Gowda G C, and municipal commissioner Amol Yedge. On this occasion, the divisional commissioner outlined a broad vision for district development. He emphasised the need to develop the entire region as a ‘metro area’ rather than limiting development to the city alone.
At the outset, CSN First President Ritesh Mishra shared details about ongoing initiatives such as Clean and Green CSN, play park development, beautification of Kailashnagar crematorium, the NGO Bhavan project, and efforts to upgrade the city’s infrastructure. The district collector, in his remarks, assured full administrative support to CSN First for development initiatives. The municipal commissioner said that concrete steps would be taken for the city’s all-round development.
The programme was compered by Tejal Vakil, CA Abhinav Sharma introduced the CSN App, and Balkrishna Bhakre proposed a vote of thanks. Several industrialists and prominent citizens of the city including Rasdeep Singh Chawala, Dushyant Patil and Gurpreet Singh Bagga were present at the event.
