City students showcase innovations in ‘Best out of E-waste’ competition

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

The grand finale and project exhibition of the inter-school competition ‘Best Out of E-Waste’ was held on Sunday at Clover Dale School, MGM Campus, promoting sustainable e-waste management.

Around 260 students from 35 schools presented 120 projects, repurposing electronic waste into innovative models focusing on technology, energy conservation, cleanliness, and recycling. The event, jointly organized by Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation, CSN First, and Poornam Ecovision Foundation, was attended by CSN First president Ritesh Mishra, deputy commissioner of municipal education Ankush Pandhare, Habib Shaikh, Gurpreet Singh Bagga and others. Mishra praised student creativity and pledged support for transforming promising ideas into startups. Judges included Dr. R. M. Damgire, Dr. Deepak Boranare, Architect Babasaheb Mhaske, and others.

Winners: Senior – Alphonso English School; Junior – Radhakrishna Madhyamik Vidyalaya.
