Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Many areas in the city were deprived of water on Sunday due to a lack of due to a breakdown in the transformer at Jayakwadi.

It may be noted that the water supply was stopped from 9.30 am on Saturday because of a technical problem at Jayakwadi and repair work continued until late at night.

Colonies that could not be provided with water on Sunday will be provided with water on Monday.

The city water supply schedule has been postponed by a day. Due to technical glitches, water supply was not provided to many parts of the old city. In Gulmandi, the first phase of water supply will be provided at 5 am on February 23. All colonies in that ward will receive a water supply in phases.

The water supply in this area has been disrupted since February 20. The city water supply schedule is collapsing for one reason or another. As a result, citizens are facing a water shortage. It is not yet certain when the water supply will start under the new scheme. Moreover, summer is approaching. Therefore, it seems likely that this year too, citizens will have to struggle for water.
