Chhatrapati Sabhajinagar

Frequent dumping of garbage into a drain near the Nalkandi bridge, close to the Ahilyabai Holkar Vaikunthdham crematorium on the road from Satara area to the SRPF camp, has led to clogging and foul odour in the area. To prevent further dumping, municipal sanitation workers have installed bamboo poles and tied sarees along one side of the bridge as a temporary measure to stop residents from throwing waste into the drain.
