A violent altercation erupted between fruit vendors over cart placement, leading to a physical fight on Tuesday at around 3 pm in Chikalthana.

Vendors regularly set up their carts in Motiwala Colony to sell fruits. However, on Tuesday, a dispute over cart placement escalated into a scuffle involving four to five individuals from both groups. The conflict intensified as they attacked each other with iron rods. Based on a complaint by Nasir Shaikh (24), a case was lodged against Wasim Inamdar (30), Javed Inamdar (38) and Ishaq Inamdar. Similarly, based on Shaikh Javed (42) complaint, cases were registered against Shaikh Nasir, Shaikh Nazir, and Shaikh Salim all residents of Motiwala Colony, Chikalthana, at the MIDC Cidco Police Station.
