Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited the city on Sunday to attend a private programme. This is his second visit, just seven days after his previous visit on April 26. This means he made two visits to the city within a week. He attended a wedding ceremony organised in the family of a party MLA and office-bearer.

Fadnavis arrived at the airport at around 6.50 PM on Sunday. Water Resources Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil also accompanied him. They were accorded a warm welcome at the airport.

Those present were included OBC Welfare Minister Atul Save, Textile Industry Minister Sanjay Savkare, Mayor Sameer Rajurkar, former MP Dr Bhagwat Karad, National Women's Commission Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, MLA Anuradha Chavan, Chairman of Standing Committee of Chhatrapait Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation Anil Makariye,  MLC Sanjay Kenekar, as well as Divisional Commissioner G Sreekanth, District Collector Vinay Gowda G C, Special Inspector General of Police Virendra Mishra and Commissioner of Police Praveen Pawar.
