Aurangabad, Jan 9:

CMIA under its Marathwada Skill Hub has taken an initiative to provide technical training to unskilled workers in various industries through on-the-job training under skill development scheme.

Giving more information, CMIA secretary Satish Lonikar informed that CMIA through the Apprenticeship Implementation Cell and skills strengthening for industrial value enhancement project implemented under the central and the state government will provide a golden opportunity to the SSC, HSC and college dropouts to get a job in the industry and also become a new entrepreneur. Students will be trained for CNC programmer cum operator, operator rolling mills equipment, PCB assembly operator, machine operator plastic processing and fitter fabrication. There will be a 15-month training period, and the student will also get stipend. A trainee who successfully completes the training will get a certificate of National Apprentice Promotion Scheme. Interested students can contact CMIA office before January 20, Lonikar said
