Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Aurangabad Smart City Development Corporation Limited (ASCDCL) has claimed that it has plans to plant 26,000 trees at the ambitious Zoological Park in Mitmita with public participation under CSR before this monsoon.

Media Analyst Arpita Sharad said, “ The Park will also have planting of ornamental trees and translocation of old and big trees (local species) from nearby locations. Besides, trees that are affected in the widening of the Padegaon to Daulatabad T-Point road will also be re-rooted at the zoo. ASCDCL, under guidance of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) G Sreekanth, is seeking funding partners for trees, solar installation and entry gate construction under CSR at the Park.”

According to sources, “Under CSR, the company, organisation and establishment are welcome to sponsor the expense. In return they would get publicity as the partners will be allowed to display their company advertisement near the trees, solar energy station or main entry gate for a fixed period. Hence this is a golden opportunity to partner with ASCDCL in this mega and ambitious project.”
