Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: There is good news for the thousands of aspiring teachers as the administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University has asked the colleges to start the process for the recruitment.
It may be noted that thousands of posts have been lying vacant in around 120 granted and partially granted colleges within the jurisdiction of the university for the past 12-15 years. The recruitment could not be done for one reason or another.
Many aspirants who qualified the National and State Eligibility Test (N/SET) and completed Ph D have been waiting for the commencement of teachers recruitment in the colleges for years. The aspirants and teachers' unions were upset over the delay in the process.
Finally, the Bamu issued a circular to all the principals of the affiliated colleges on Saturday to initiate the recruitment process.
In the beginning, the colleges will have to verify the roster of vacant posts from the Special Cell of the university. Later, the colleges will have to seek final approval for the roster from the Assistant Commissioner (Backward Classes Cell), Office of Divisional Commissioner, with relevant documents.
Once the roster is approved, the colleges will seek a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the office of the Joint Director of Higher Education (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar) as per the reservation. On the basis of the roster approval and NoC, the university will give approval for the recruitment advertisement.
