Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

To draw attention to various civic issues such as regular and free-of-cost water supply, waiver of interest on property tax, and other concerns, the City-District Congress Committee organised a "Halla Bol" agitation at the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) headquarters (Town Hall) on Thursday. Since the administrator G Sreekanth was not present in the office, a memorandum of demands was presented to him at the Smart City Mission headquarters (Kile Ark).

For the past few years, the CSMC has been under administrative rule, entirely under the control of the state government. To raise the voices of the common people and press their issues, the agitation, which was declared to address these problems, saw participation from Congress leaders, workers, and ordinary citizens. The memorandum raised significant issues like regular and free water supply, relief in property tax, and other pressing problems, demanding their resolution.

The event saw the presence of in-charge MLC Rajesh Rathod, city president Shaikh Yusuf, former group leader of the municipal corporation Bhausaheb Jagtap, state general secretary Dr Zafar Khan, city president of Kisan Congress Mahendra Ramandwal, Nilesh Ambewadikar, Iqbal Singh Gill, Shaikh Athar, Amer Abdul Salim, Anis Patel, Dr Arun Shirsath, Moin Inamdar and large number of party activists and workers.
