Aurangabad, Jan 11:

A conman posing as police took a motorcycle and a mobile phone of a man and fled away from the scene near A S Club. A case has been registered in this regard at the Waluj MIDC police station.

According to the details, complainant Keshav Baliram Dhage (Rajangaon) had gone on his friend Amol Nikalje’s motorcycle (MH 20 FS5145) to bring medicines from the city, last Wednesday. While returning, a man wearing white shirt and Khaki trousers stopped Dhage near A S Club at around 9.30 pm. The man took the keys of the motorcycle, his mobile phone and valet from Dhage. Later, the man told Dhage to stop there and he will come after leaving his associate somewhere. Dhage waited for the man for long but he did not come. Hence, he lodged a complaint at the Waluj MIDC on Monday.
