Recognizing their exceptional work in child protection, PI Gajanan Kalyankar, PSI Radha Late and Isak Pathan, four constables, and the district probation and supervision observation home will receive the prestigious child-friendly award on March 3 at the Yashwantrao Chavan Center, Mumbai.

The Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, in collaboration with UNICEF, honours individuals and institutions committed to child welfare, safety, and rights. Acting on Police Commissioner Pravin Pawar’s directives, officers launched regular school visits, awareness drives in 28 schools, complaint boxes in 35 schools, CCTV checks, and school bus driver verifications to curb crimes against children.
