Aurangabad, June 2:

Several families have lost the earning members during the Corona pandemic. However, the announcement of the government to help these families remains a farce. No one has gained the government aid until now. The families sustaining on the earning of the youngsters in the corporate sector have been affected due to Corona crisis. Many youngsters, the earning members of the families have lost. Moreover, the family members even could not meet them in their last time. Only they could see the faces off the deceased at the Crematoriums or grave yards. Moreover, some were lucky to meet the people online while they were being treated through mobile phone chats. Now, these families have only grief and memories of their beloved ones.

Meanwhile, the municipal corporation and the district collectorate have started a survey of the families where the parents or the earning members have died. The survey is under progress and hence there is no exact data of such families’ available until now.

So far, 143074 persons were affected by Covid in the district, of which, 136824 recovered, 3227 died while 3023 are being treated.
