Aurangabad, Feb 18:

The teaches working in Municipal Corporation and Council schools will be able to get transfer to Zilla Parishad schools after the Education Department issued a circular on February 16.

The State Government is already implementing inter and intra-district transfers of teachers online.

As per the Government Resolution dated June 29, 2017, the ZP teachers can be transferred to Municipal Councils schools.

So, there was a demand from teachers union for the transfer from Municipal Corporation and Council schools to ZP schools.

Following directives from the Government, the Education Department issued a circular on February 16, stating that teachers working in Municipal Council and Corporations schools can transfer to ZP Schools.

State unit office-bearers of Shikshak Sanghatna demanded that the transfers per the new system be done online.

There certain conditions laid down for the transfers.

The conditions included seeking no-objection certificate from Council and ZP administration; there will be no benefit of seniority of previous working place, there should no criminal case or enquiry pending against teacher
