Aurangabad, June 15: A total of eight new Marathi and Urdu medium schools will be started by the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). The education department has also ordered the teachers to conduct a survey to start four Marathi medium schools in Satara and Deolai areas and Urdu schools in Mitmita, Jatwada, Hinanagar and Chikalthana areas. The survey has been started accordingly.

Online education started in schools in the city from Tuesday as per the government order. This includes a total of 972 schools, 72 municipal and 900 private schools. From the very first day, the corporation teachers started surveying for out-of-school students in their school jurisdictions. Students in municipal schools are facing many problems in online education due to lack of mobile and internet connection. For this, with the initiative of education officer Ramnath Thore and cultural officer Sanjeev Sonar, an action plan will be prepared through teachers that will bring students deprived of online education into the main stream education. Shashikant Ubale, Tushar Tathe, Ashwini Hiwarde Dnyandeo Sangale will be giving training to teachers.
