Aurangabad, Oct 14:

Commissioner of police, Dr Nikhil Gupta, reviewed the traffic situation by going on the city roads on motorcycle for four days.

The traffic police are employed on the city roads. However, whenever CP Dr Gupta visited on the roads, the traffic police were alert and the traffic was regularized. Hence, He could not know the real situation on the roads. Hence, Dr Gupta, for the past four days inspected the traffic situation on the city roads in civil dress wearing a helmet on motorcycle. Only a security guard accompanied him. After inspection, he announced rewards for 25 traffic policemen doing excellent work on the roads and also issued notices to 15 policemen for neglecting duties, the sources informed.
