Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A crane went out of control and entered the compound of a bungalow, crushing six two-wheelers parked in front. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident that took place on Monday morning in the Walmi Naka area, bringing relief to those present.

Ganesh Aute is the security manager of an industrial group. The group’s managing director resides in Kanchanwadi. On Monday, Aute was inspecting security arrangements at the director’s residence. At that time, a speeding crane entered the bungalow’s parking gate. It damaged trees and crushed six employees’ two-wheelers before coming to a halt.

Aute and his colleague narrowly escaped unhurt. They immediately detained the driver and informed the Satara Police about the incident. Based on Aute’s complaint, a case has been registered at the Satara Police Station against crane driver Ashfaq Ashraf Barmare (resident of Mumbra, Thane).
