Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

A case has been registered at the Satara police station after an attempt was made to register a fraudulent Power of Attorney using forged documents, including a fake Aadhaar Card, in the name of Krishnakumar Murjimal Chanchalani at assistant sub-registrar office No. 6, Beed Bypass area on Monday.

The complaint was filed by assistant sub-registrar Audumbar Late. Four accused have been charged Kacharu Sulane (Shedraban, Chikhalthana), document writer Sundarlal Katare (Zharipura), and witnesses Rajesh Kadam and Harish Gangwe (both of Kailash Nagar). The case is registered under relevent sections on charges of government fraud, forgery, and misrepresentation of false documents as genuine. The fraudulent Power of Attorney pertained to a 0 Hectare 08 R land parcel in Gat No. 175 at Tisgaon, registered through a confession statement despite the sub-registrar being deliberately misled. Further investigation is being carried out by police sub-inspector Dilip Bachate of Satara Police Station.
