Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation's (CSMC) budget will be presented before March 31. To understand what development works should be prioritised for the city and what citizens expect from the budget, the administration sought feedback from the public. A total of 60 citizens have submitted their responses to the municipal corporation.

The CSMC has not had elected representatives for the past five years, and each year, the administration prepares and presents the budget. Last year, administrator G Sreekanth announced that citizens' feedback would be taken into account for the budget. While there was limited response to this initiative last year, it has received a better response this year. Sixty citizens have shared their opinions with the accounts section. Some citizens have requested the development of parks in their wards, while others have suggested the installation of water pipelines, increasing the capacity of drainage lines, and more. Sources mentioned that after reviewing the suggestions received from the citizens, the relevant ones will be included in the budget.
