The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) has provided various facilities for the revellers celebrating Shiv Jayanti on Wednesday. The civic teams cleaned the area around the statue of Shivaji Maharaj at Kranti Chowk and various locations across the city. The Fire Section cleaned the statue with water. Solid waste was managed by the respective Ward Office. The Garden Section decorated Kranti Chowk, N-7, CSMC’s Building Number 3, and the Museum with flowers. The Electrical Section provided lighting. Drinking water was arranged on the procession route and Kranti Chowk. The Health Section provided an ambulance. The Mechanical Section arranged for mobile toilets. Meanwhile, the anti-encroachment squad cleared lying stones, boulders, soil, and other materials on the procession route. Scrap and vehicles on the procession route were also removed on priority.

The CSMC officials paid tributes to Shivaji Maharaj by garlanding the statue at Kranti Chowk, Cidco N-7, CSMC headquarters, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum. The municipal corporation administrator G Sreekanth, additional commissioner Ranjit Patil, deputy commissioner Vijay Patil, medical officer (Health) Dr Paras Mandalecha, executive engineer K M Phalak, B D Phad, public relations officer Tausif Ahmed, ward officer Ramesh More, and others were present on the occasion.

Smart City also paid tributes to Shivaji Maharaj. The chief executive officer (CEO) Jagdish Miniyar, additional CEO Arun Shinde, HR section’s Vishnu Lokhande, project managers Sneha Bakshi, Syed Faiz Ali, Kiran Aade and others were present on the occasion.
