The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) is preparing to launch 69 citizens-centric services online under the Right to Public Services (RTS) Act. If all goes well, the online facilities will be available from April 1.
It is learnt that, under the guidance of municipal commissioner G Sreekanth, the e-governance section has reviewed the present 34 services and will coordinate with various sections by the end of March to introduce the remaining 35 services as well.
“ With the introduction of online facilities, the applicant will not need to visit the municipal corporation headquarters or make rounds of the office to get the work done. Now, the citizens can directly submit an online application and within the stipulated period, he/she will get his/her desired document (certificate, trade license, permission etc),” stressed the systems manager Adil Siddiqui.
Meanwhile, the head of the war room (set up for assessment of taxes) P. Deshpande said, “ The 69 services also include 10-12 services relating to the tax section. They will start from April 1.”

The ongoing online service includes an update of mobile number, refund of the security deposit, provisional/final fire NOC, No Dues Certificate, change of ownership, NOC for meat shop, check
complaint status, MTP Registration, change in number of hospital beds, new/renewal of pet license, change in water connection size, transfer of property, new drainage connection, marriage certificate, tender, new/renewal of nursing home registration, disconnection of water connection, permission for hoarding, felling of trees, birth/death certificate, payment of water tax, payment of property tax, bio-medical waste disposal, booking of ground, new water connection, trimming of tree, etc.
