In a bid to promote sustainable innovation and e-waste management, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation, CSN FIRST, and Purnam EcoVision Foundation jointly organized the inter-school competition "Best Out of E-Waste", culminating in a grand finale on March 23. The competition aimed to encourage students to develop scientific and eco-friendly solutions by repurposing electronic waste.

The event saw participation from 33 schools, with over 1,000 students registering and 400 projects submitted. Out of these, 138 standout projects were selected for final display, focusing on technology, energy conservation, and sanitation.

The exhibition featured innovative projects such as the Radio Wave Project (Sanskar English School), Foot Step (Alphanso School), Smart Glass (Jagriti School), and Smart City (Bhonadwe Patil Public School). Winners were awarded in two categories—Group A (Classes 5–7) and Group B (Classes 8–10).

Dignitaries present included CSN FIRST president Mukund Kulkarni, joint commissioner Ankush Pandhare, city engineer Avinash Deshmukh, MASSIA president Chetan Raut and Purnam EcoVision GM Bharat Damle. A panel of experts including Dr Ranjan Garg, Dr Deepak Boranare, and Dr Prashant Avasarmal, evaluated the projects. Mukund Kulkarni announced that CSN FIRST will make the competition an annual event, with the top 10 projects receiving industrial support for further development. Experts emphasized the importance of e-waste management, calling it a major environmental challenge that requires immediate attention. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by CSN FIRST honorary secretary Sunil Chaudhary, acknowledging the contributions of organizers and participants.
