Aurangabad, Dec 5:

The municipal health department on Saturday conducted sudden corona tests at Jadhavwadi vegetable market. On the first day, 49 people including traders and customers underwent a test. The administration has decided to conduct daily tests. The Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) could not control the crowd even after the municipal corporation repeatedly informed the officials to control the crowd. Many citizens come to buy vegetables without masks. No social distancing is followed by traders and customers. Therefore, an independent team of the municipal corporation was deployed to test the citizens and traders.

87 homeless citizens tested

Corona testing of homeless citizens in the city is underway. This initiative was started on December 3 at Sant Gadge Maharaj shelter home at railway station. On the first day, one out of 22 citizens tested positive. On December 4, 65 people were tested for corona. No one was found positive.
