Aurangabad, July 21:

In the second wave of corona in the district, the number of patients was increasing by 800 in a single day. But now such growth of patients is being diagnosed in 20 days. Between July 1 to 20, the district recorded a growth of 848 patients. On the contrary, 1,159 patients were given discharge. The health administration has heaved a sign of relief as the number of patients is below 50 for twelve consecutive days.

The health administration is on alert due to the prediction of third wave. The health and treatment facilities are being upgraded in every district. The number of tests has also increased. Meanwhile, the number of covid patients has been below 50 in past 20 days. The number of covid deaths is also reduced significantly. From July 1-20, 51 covid deaths were reported. On May 2, 835 covid patients were diagnosed in the city. Such number patients is now being found in 20 days.
