Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:
The stretch from the city to Chikalthana on Jalna Road has deteriorated badly, posing a serious risk to commuters. Cement blocks along the roadside are damaged and the asphalt has worn off at several places, forcing motorists to navigate with difficulty.
Traffic rules are being openly violated near Agrasen Chowk, increasing the danger for two-wheelers and four-wheelers. The risk of accidents is particularly high at night. Locals said incidents of vehicles losing balance while avoiding potholes are frequent.
Wrong-side driving is also common near Agrasen Chowk, even in the presence of traffic police. Social activists Laxman Kamble, Bhagwan Gaikwad, Anna Pakhare and Maruti Pattekar have demanded immediate action from the civic and public works departments.
