Vice chairman and managing director Deepak Garg of SANY Heavy Industry India Pvt. Ltd, has been appointed chairman of the CII Maharashtra State Council for 2026–27, while Aarti Kuchibhatla managing director and India lead government advisory & strategic partnerships at Accenture, has been appointed vice chairperson.
Garg succeeds Vinayak Pai. Under his leadership, CII Maharashtra will focus on manufacturing competitiveness, infrastructure and logistics development, digital transformation, sustainable industrial practices, skill development, and stronger industry–government collaboration. CII will work through its zonal offices in Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Kolhapur, Nashik and Thane to support innovation and industrial growth across the state.
