Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will unveil the statue of Maharana Pratap at the park in the Connaught Market of the Cidco on April 18.

The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) has recently developed the park and erected an equestrian statue of Maharana Pratap.

The Veer Shiromani Pratap Smarak Samiti and Rajput Samaj Mandal demanded that a life-size- statue of Maharana Pratap be erected in the Connaught Garden of Cidco.

Administrator and Commissioner of CSMC G Sreekanth took the initiative and installed the statue of Maharana Pratap with beautification of the premises. The park department has prepared pathways in the garden. With the renovation, the department planted decorative flower plants as well.

Toys have been installed in the garden. The statue of Maharana Pratap has been erected. union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will unveil this statue on Friday.

Rajnath Singh has given consent to attend the statue unveiling ceremony. The Defence Minister's Officer on Special Duty Prabhat Kumar Tripathi has sent a consent letter to Municipal Administrator G Sreekanth and Kanwar Singh Bainade (Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Smarak Samiti).
