Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

VHP (Vishva Hindu Parishad) regional minister Govind Shende visited the collector office today, submitting a petition calling for the dismissal of Mamata Banerjee's government and the imposition of President's Rule in West Bengal.

This move follows Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's refusal to implement the Waqf Reform Bill in the state. Rajeev Jahagirdar, the VHP's Devgiri region contact person for temple priests, condemned the government's actions, accusing it of fostering communal discord. The petition was presented in the presence of several VHP workers, including Ganesh Mokashi, Sushil Bharuka, Abhishek Kadi, Subhash Kumawat, Dnyaneshwar Jadhav, Dhananjay Pund, Raj Daware, Sachin Rane, Amit Jayswal, and Vijaya Kulkarni.
