Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Happy to Help Foundation demanded a change in school timings in the district in view of ‘yellow alert’ for rising temperature.

In a memorandum submitted to the district collector, the Foundation stated that due to the intense afternoon heat, there is a significant risk of sunstroke and dehydration among young children.

“Since the examination period is currently underway, the time slot of 7.30 AM to 10.30 AM is sufficient for conducting exams. This will allow students to safely reach home by 11 AM. "Rising temperatures can have the most severe impact on school students", it was mentioned in the memorandum. Founder of the Foundation, Sk Abdul Rahim, submitted the memorandum to the district collector on Thursday.
