Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

On the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day), artists from Dhyas Performing Arts, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, presented a dance performance before prime minister Narendra Modi. The students received this opportunity through the joint initiative of the Ministry of Culture and the Sangeet Natak Akademi.

The event took place at Kevadia, Gujarat, in front of the Statue of Unity of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Around 800 artists from various states across India participated in the Unity Parade, showcasing different classical dance forms. A total of 19 dancers represented Kalavardhini, Pune and Dhyas Performing Arts, Sambhajinagar, of which 10 were from Dhyas.

Under the guidance of Arundhati Patwardhan, the disciples of Ketaki Neupurekar from Sambhajinagar presented a graceful Bharatanatyam performance, bringing pride to the city. The participating students included Riddhi Barpande, Shreya Kulkarni, Tejal Dhabekar, Aditi Chamnikar, Shravani Wankar, Vaishnavi Totla, Vidisha Vembakkam, Sakshi Padalkar, Priya Deshmukh, Ananya Patil, and Prajakta Rajurkar.
