Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: In view of the Zilla Parishad (ZP) and Panchayat Samiti (PS) elections in the tehsil, District Collector Deelip Swami visited polling stations at two villages in Phulambri tehsil at 12 noon on Saturday.

He reviewed the voting process and gave necessary instructions to the officers and staff.

The District Collector visited the polling stations in Ganori and Murshidabad Wadi, inspecting the voting process, facilities for voters, security arrangements, and the law and order situation.

He interacted with the staff appointed at the polling stations and gathered information about the voting time, voter turnout, and the efficiency of the voting machines. He instructed them to take precautions to prevent any problems from arising.

Swami emphasised that voters should not face any difficulties and that the voting process should be conducted in a transparent and fearless environment. He also expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements and instructed that vigilance be maintained where necessary.

During this visit, Sub-Divisional Officer and Election Returning Officer Neelam Bafna, tehsildar and Assistant Election Returning Officer Yogita Khatawkar and Nayab Tehsildar Sanjeev Raut were present.
