Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Central Government has approved the allocation of 3,744 kilolitres (37.44 lakh litres) kerosene for the State, of which Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district will receive 144 kilolitres for the months of March-April.

Each family will be entitled to 3 litres of kerosene. This kerosene will be available to Antyodaya and Priority Households cardholders.

The Government has issued an ordinance in this regard, requiring kerosene distribution to be completed within 45 days of the ordinance being issued. The kerosene will be made available to citizens through fair price shops and licensed kerosene distributors.

Even those without a ration card will be eligible to receive 3 litres of kerosene per family, for which a gram panchayat certificate will be required.
