Chhatrpati Sambhajinagar: Dr Bharti Gawali has been appointed as the Presiding Officer of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
The committee has been constituted as per the directives of the University Grants Commission regarding the "Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace." She took over the charge from Dr Pushpa Gaikwad.
Dr Gawali has been serving as a professor in the Department of Computer Science for the last 25 years. She also currently serves as the Director of Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra.
