Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Dr Gitanjali Bhimrao Borade was appointed the head of the Department of History and Ancient Language of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) on Saturday.
Vice-chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari made her appointment for a period of three years. She has been working in the Department of History for 18 years and her research is based don Modern India and Maharashtra, Hyderabad Muktisangram, Women and Gender Discrimination.
