Aurangabad, July 22:
Dr Kailash Aher of the Groundwater Survey and Development Agency (GSDA) divisional office, Aurangabad has been selected as the best geologist officer in the state on the golden jubilee year of the GSDA department. Dr Aher is one among the eight junior geologist selected from the state level. He has been awarded for his work in groundwater budget, groundwater assessment of Aurangabad district, impact assessment report of groundwater management project through public participation report of world bank funded project 'Jalaswarajya-2'. He has also published more than fifty research papers internationally and has been awarded fellowships on national level. He is being congratulated for his selection from all walks of life.
