On Sunday, a delegation from the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) and the Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries (Massia) met Dr. Bhagwat Karad to highlight the gas requirements of local industries and the challenges they are facing.

The ongoing Middle East conflict has disrupted LNG/LPG supplies, impacting industries in the Marathwada region. The delegation included CMIA president Utsav Machhar, CMIA vice president Atharveshraj Nandawat, CMIA honorary secretary Mihir Soundalgekar, Massia vice president Rahul Mogle. They briefed Dr. Karad on the current supply situation and its impact, and requested an urgent meeting with union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, for immediate remedial action. Dr. Karad assured the delegation that he understood the difficulties and would provide necessary support at the central government level. He also stated efforts would be made to arrange a meeting with Minister Hardeep Singh Puri next week. CMIA expressed gratitude for Dr. Karad’s positive response and hopes for a timely solution.
