Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Dr Ramesh Atmaram Jadhav was appointed as Head of the Marathi Language and Literature Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu). He took over the charge of the Department Head from Dr Dasu Vaidya on Monday. Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari has made this appointment for a term of three years. Dr Ramesh Jadhav worked as a teaching faculty at Milind College from 1995 to 2008.
Since 2008, he has served as an associate professor, professor, and senior professor in the Marathi Department of the university. He has completed 31 years of service. He has previously worked as NSS District Coordinator and Senator.
He has published a total of ten books and about fifty research papers. He works as an expert professor at various renowned universities in Maharashtra and is also the editor of the magazine Gorvani. He has also completed a major research project.
