Aurangabad, Nov 13: The Society of Tropical Agriculture, New Delhi has selected Principal of MIT College of Food Technology Dr Ashok Rodge for Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Scientist Award-2020. Dr Rodge has obtained MS (Food Science) degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada and Ph D (Food Science) from Marathwada Agriculture University, Parbhani.

He has worked as head, department of Food Chemistry and Nutrition, College of Food Technology, Marathwada Agriculture University, Parbhani. He has about three decades of experience in research, teaching and extension activities. Dr Rodge has published more than 100 research papers in reputed national and international journals and authored two books.
