Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Dr Sandeep Sisode, social worker and president of the Psychologists’ Association, has been selected for the ‘Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi State-Level De-addiction Service Award’ for the year 2024–25.

The award, instituted by the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, comprises a cash prize of ₹15,000, a citation, and a memento. The department’s deputy secretary Vivek Shinde announced the awards for the past five years to honour individuals and organisations doing exemplary work in the field of de-addiction.

Dr Sisode has been actively working in the fields of de-addiction and psychological counselling for the past two decades.
