Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Ahead of the Bhadra Maruti Padayatra on Hanuman Jayanti, Giants Pride Group, in association with the municipal corporation and police commissionerate, will undertake a waste collection and awareness drive on April 2. The 12-year initiative will focus on segregating wet and dry waste along the Cantonment–Daulatabad stretch.

A year-long anti-drug campaign will also be launched on April 1 through street plays. Minister Sanjay Shirsat, Atul Save, mayor Sameer Rajurkar, collector Deelip Swami and police commissioner Pravin Pawar have appealed for public participation.
