Aurangabad, Jan 8:

The Dry Run was conducted all over the district to understand the mistakes and delays, before the final execution of the Covid-19 vaccination programme, successfully.

The municipal commissioner A K Pandey hinted, " We will also have to focus on Crowd Management after the execution of the vaccination programme in the city as there is a lot of curiosity amongst the citizens".

The municipal officer of health (MoH) Dr Neeta Padalkar said, " There are some citizens who still fears about the vaccine. We will be taking the help of private hospitals falling in the vicinity of 200 metres from the vaccination centre. The uneasiness happens to one person in a lakh. The patients would automatically take it after seeing that the doctors are taking it."

WHO''s Dr Syed Mujeeb said, " The dry run was organised to pin-point shortcomings and improve them so that they should not be repeated while implementing the vaccination programme. We will be discussing them, but they are not many in numbers."

The deputy director of health Dr Swapnil Lade said, " Till today, the vaccination programme was implemented through registration on paper in our district. The Covid-19 vaccination programme is an IT-based, and the vaccination drives in future would be based on technology only."
