Aurangabad, Jan 5:

‘Dry Run’ will be held in the city on January 8 for Novel coronavirus vaccination. District Civil Surgeon Dr Sundar Kulkarni said that a training and a mock drill of COVID vaccine administration would be conducted at District Civil Hospital on January 6 before a dry run.

It may be noted that the pandemic vaccination campaign would be implemented in four phases in the State. Dry Run is being held in the different parts of the State as part of preparations for the drive.

Various instructions were being issued for Dry Run that was carried out in four districts-Pune, Nagpur, Jalna and Nandurbar two days ago.

There will be dry run in the city on Friday and preparations are being done for this purpose. Dry Run is likely to be held in Vaijapur also along with District Civil Hospital. Employees of health staff would be administered the vaccine in the first phase. The ‘Dry Run’ will show how much health machinery and administration is ready.
