Aurangabad, Dec 23: The ebullient Nath Valley School students showcased their true spirit and talent on the 27th Annual Day celebration of the school, recently. Principal Ranjit Dass, trustees Nandkishore Kagliwal, N K Gupta, vice-principals Dr Rajkumari Dixit, Dr Sharda Gupta and headmistress Sarabjeet Dasgupta lighted the traditional lamp. Meritorious students of class 12 and 10 were felicitated with mementos by N K Gupta, Macchar and Rishi Bagla.

Nandkishore Kagliwal, the first chairman of the trust, said the phenomenal change that NVS has shown over these 27 years was possible due to the synthesis of modern education with good moral values.

Principal Dass said the catastrophe has changed the economy, lifestyle, health protocol and education. Our challenge was to not let the classes suffer. With proper training and upgrading technical skills we climbed the mountain of uncertainty successfully.

Chief guest MP Suresh Prabhu asked children to give their best at all times. He further stated that most of us have set goals, work hard and have the skills too but its only good education that helps us to open and focus our minds. Life does not treat you equally… everyone who makes an effort will always achieve in life as he has a strong desire to succeed.

Prabhu was introduced by HM Dasgupta. The evening started with spell-binding singing and some graceful moves namely, ‘Vibrant India’ which was an amalgamation of various folk dances along with ‘Western Dance’ which had a touch of Hip hop and ‘Masti Mania’.

The Hindi play ‘chahiye – Acceptance’ was based on bridging the gap between the expectation of parents and interest and aptitude of children, sending a message across that we parents must give enough time to our children, as this is what our children cherish in the future. The English play ‘The Shenanigans of 2020’ was a political satire based upon the popular political leaders of the world.

The dynamic teachers put up a commendable flash mob. The theme for the annual day was ”celebrate life”. Starting from the primary event of E-Entertainment, that showcased the talent of students in singing, dancing, drama and skills, to the E-Annual Day, the event was spectacular in every way.
