Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Indersing Chandanase, a resident of Aaisahebnagar employed in a private firm, died on February 14 while undergoing treatment after being hit by a speeding moped on February 11. The accident occurred around 10 am when he was walking home, and the rider, Rahul Motiram Dhage (25, Pisadevi area), allegedly hit him head-on, causing severe chest and head injuries. He was admitted to hospital but succumbed during treatment. Following a complaint filed by his son Narayan, Harsul police registered a case against Dhage. Further investigation is underway.
