The series of accidents at Akashvani Chowk continues, with an unidentified car driver hitting an elderly man standing near a traffic signal and fleeing the scene. The accident occurred recently at 5 pm.

Vijaykumar Shahane (77, Sanjaynagar) was standing on the footpath near the Akashvani traffic signal around 5 pm when a speeding car coming from Mondha Naka hit him and fled. Shahane sustained serious injuries to his hands and legs. Jawaharnagar police are searching for the driver.
