A 79-year-old worker, Vilas Kalekar, was found unconscious early Friday morning at Fred’s Engineering Company (K-109) in Waluj MIDC and later died during treatment. As soon as Kalekar collapsed, Dhiraj Dadmal and Amol Makal rushed him to the casualty ward of Government Medical College and Hospital(GMCH), where doctors declared him dead. Police have registered a case of accidental death, and further investigation is underway.
