Aurangabad, April 4:

The election for the post of chairman and vice chairman of Aurangabad District Central Cooperative Bank (ADCCB) will be held at the bank's main auditorium at 11 am, on April 5.

Election returning officer Mukesh Barhate said that the office-bearers would be elected from 20 directors by raising a hand or other method.

Name of Nitin Patil is on top position for the post of chairman while there are four aspirants for the post of vice-chairman.

Nitin Patil started meeting the voters on Saturday. He also met with Dr Kalyan Kale and Subhash Zambad from the rival panel. Nitin Patil will also hold a meeting at the guest hall at 9 am on Monday. Only Kale and Zambad were invited to the meeting.

After the meeting, all directors will leave for ADCC Bank. No director will be allowed to attend the meeting without the COVID test. All will have to maintain physical distance strictly.

There are also restrictions on a celebration or taking any procession after the election.

The number of Shiv Sena group directors has reached up to 11 after Patil joined Sena recently.
