Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Rashtriya College of Arts, Science and Commerce of Kannad tehsil has suspended its employee for leaking B Com third year paper on April 11.

College Principal Dr M S Waghmare lodged a complaint with Kannad Police Station on Wednesday evening. Principal Dr Waghmar submitted the copies of the First Information Report (FIR) to the probe committee of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu)

As per the complaint, Rishikesh Akolkar was appointed chief at the centre for the March-April 2026 began on April 7. It was claimed that they (college) had no information about the paper leaking before the examination from their centre on April 11

“The university committee visited the centre on April 15 to probe the case. Before this committee, Dilip Lihinar, supervisor Pravin Ughade, and Manjushi Suryavanshi were questioned on April 17,” it was mentioned.

Following this, the institution's Administrative Officer, Bhausaheb Shinde and Principal Dr Waghmare constituted an internal inquiry committee. Through this inquiry, it was established that Dilip Raosaheb Lihinar (Borsar, Kannad) used the password provided by the university to download the question paper at 12:47 and viral it on WhatsApp at 12:53. He was suspended.
